Our Story

Founded in 2004, Sport-ED began as a grassroots initiative aimed at empowering youth from underprivileged communities. Since then, we’ve evolved into a vital support system, offering programmes that foster teamwork, leadership and healthy living. By focusing on both physical and academic development, we guide children toward brighter futures. Over the years, Sport-ED has touched the lives of countless young people, giving them the tools to succeed and thrive. Our mission remains clear: to inspire and uplift the next generation.

Our Team

Sport-ED’s success is driven by a dedicated team of over 60 volunteers and staff who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children in our community. Together, we work tirelessly to deliver programmes that align with our mission and vision of uplifting and inspiring youth.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our generous funders for their invaluable support over the years. Thanks to contributions from organisations like Slough Borough Council, Thames Valley Police, Mars, Akzo Nobel, Doorstep, Thames Valley Housing, A2 Dominion, the one housing group, Nexen Petroleum, Sportivate, Berkshire Youth, The National Lottery, and many other supporters, we’ve been able to further our mission and reach more children in need.
